Retreats at the Priestly Residence are five full days of silence. Each day includes Mass, Lauds and Vespers, Eucharistic Adoration, and sometimes the Rosary. Some services are prayed with the seminary community. The two daily talks always conclude with suggestions for meditation. Confessors are available, and the preacher offers the opportunity to meet with him personally. Evening prayers are offered, and a fraternal sharing takes place at the end of the retreat. There is always a Mass celebrated in the basilica with the renewal of ordination vows before the Holy Curé. The proximity of the sanctuary allows for prayer in the places consecrated by St. John Vianney and at his reliquary.
